90 years of tubing expertise

Poppe + Potthoff will be presenting its skills for precision steel tubes, components and testing equipment at the Tube in Hall 3, Stand B01 from April 16-20

When it comes to exceeding standard requirements in tube and metal processing, Poppe + Potthoff has been supplying suitable solutions since 1928. The expert for industrial and high-pressure applications is a partner for innovative customers all over the world. More than 50 different steel alloys are processed and refined in the tube mill to offer ideal properties for specific requirements.

Seamless and welded re-drawn steel tubes are manufactured at P+P in narrow tolerances up to group h8/H9 and h9/H8. The design and the physical and mechanical properties are precisely matched to the application. The tubes can be round or profiled, with variable thickness or double-walled in a wide range of complex shapes.

Inhouse engineering, refining and testing

As an innovation partner, Poppe + Potthoff develops and validates new product designs based on tubular components for its customers. This especially includes high-pressure-resistant components such as common rails and injection lines. At the Group's Technology Center, prototypes are processed and tested on the same machines that are also used at the Werther (Germany) and Ajka (Hungary) sites.

Special machines for autofrettage, automatic quality control and assembly as well as leak-tightness, function and durability testing are developed by Poppe + Potthoff Maschinenbau. The expert for high-pressure applications and testing technology ensures that components and systems for hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel injection or the heating and cooling circuit in vehicles with gas, petrol, diesel or electric drive offer maximum reliability and safety.

Further information will be available from April 16-20 in Hall 3, Booth B01 at the Tube in Düsseldorf, Germany and on

This test stand by Poppe + Potthoff Maschinenbau produces strong impulses up to 6,000 bar with a frequency between 1 and 30 Hz to check the durability and strength of components under pulsating inner pressure.
